Karen joined our nursing team in September 2013. Karen assists in the management of Long Term Conditions.
Gillian Snaith – Practice Nurse
Gillian joined our nursing team in May 2016 Gillian will assist in the management of Long Term Conditions.
Maxine Turnbull – Treatment Room Nurse.
Maxine has completed an OU degree in Adult Nursing. Maxine qualified in September 2019 and has joined the nurse team as a treatment room nurse.
Our Practice Nursing Team offer a range of appointments carrying out basic nursing activities such as injections and dressings as well as more specialised nursing skills which include:

- Contraception advice
- Lifestyle advice and smoking cessation
- Assessment and monitoring of BP/asthma
- Travel advice and vaccinations
- Smears.
- Long term conditioning monitoring/care planning
- Lifestyle advice
- Baby immunisations
- Wound care
The nursing team are supported by 4 healthcare assistants who are proficient in a wide range of skills including phlebotomy, BP checks and diabetic feet checks.
