The proposed boundary extension is intended to ensure that patients living in newly developed housing areas have access to local GP services. Holmside Medical Group has a long-standing history of providing primary care to the surrounding community, and these new developments are a natural extension of the population we already serve. The proposed change simply incorporates these new residential areas, which currently fall just outside our existing practice boundary, allowing us to continue delivering accessible, high-quality care to our local community.

We want everyone to feel welcome and able to visit our practice. Here’s how we make it easy for people to get around and use our building:
Getting In and Around
- Step-Free Access: There are no steps at our entrance, so it’s easy for wheelchairs, walking aids, or prams to get in. (Access via ramp at Armstrong Road)
- Accessible Parking: We have special parking spaces close to the door for people who need extra help. (Not at Armstrong Road)
- Automatic Doors: Our doors open by themselves, so you don’t have to push or pull them.
- Accessible Toilets: There’s a large toilet with grab rails and an emergency cord to make it safer and easier to use.
- Lift Access: Move from one level to another without steps
Communication
- Hearing Loop: If you use a hearing aid, we have a system to make it easier for you to hear at reception.
- Clear Signs: Signs around the building show where to go, and they’re easy to read.
- Translator/BSL Interpreter: Available on request
