I work as a GP; as well as seeing patients for pre-booked appointments and urgent health issues, I also assist with queries from colleagues in the community and hospitals for integrated care of patients. My role as learning disability lead means I look after our patients with intellectual disabilities and will see them annually for a health review, as well as attending meetings to discuss specific issues relating to learning disability care locally and across the North East.
