We have the sad task of reporting the death of one of our valued, retired GP partners Dr Andrew Price.
Dr Andrew, as we all knew him, died on the 3rd of September at St Oswald’s Hospice. Dr Andrew leaves behind his wife (Dr Sarah Price) and their three children, Hannah, William and Emily.
Dr Andrew had been a GP partner of the Holmside Medical Group for most of his working life, before retiring to spend time with Dr Sarah and his family. He was a dedicated GP and friend to many.
There are no right words to express our sorrow, but we wish to share a moment of appreciation for a joyful life taken too soon.
Many of our staff and patients will have known Dr Andrew well and will have many memories of time spent with him, and benefited from his expertise and kindness as a GP.
Book of condolences will be placed at both Chapel House and Armstrong Road, for any patients wishing to leave a message of sympathy, memories, or tribute.
