While we focus on health and wellbeing as a priority for our patients we also promote this in our workplace, encouraging a healthy workplace to benefit our workforce.
We partnered with the Better Health At Work Award scheme in 2021. The Better Health at Work Award recognises the efforts of employers in the North East and Cumbria in addressing health issues within the workplace.
Through this unique partnership project we are benefitting from a healthier environment and culture, increased access to health information and interventions for our workforce where they wouldn’t normally.
With the support in our practice from our appointed Health Advocates, who lead our organisation towards the achievement of the Better Health at Work Award in developing a positive wellbeing culture in the workplace and beyond.
In 2021 we achieved the Bronze Level award, laying a firm foundation to build a healthier workplace. Continuing to progress in 2022 we were awarded our Silver Level.
We are very proud of our achievement’s and from our partnership with the Better Health At Work Award we look to develop even further.
